Adding Groups

Groups are an important aspect of the mass notification module.

Groups can be used to target notifications directly at specific groups of recipients.

You can synchronise group membership with your third party identity platform. Please make sure you create the group here (without any members) first. Please refer to the synchronisation (SCIM2) section of this guide for details about how to configure this.

Go to Configuration > Groups, and click Add New. You’ll see the following pop-up:

Enter the group name and select which users you would like to add to the group.

Useful info:

  • Use subscription names that are unique and clear and recognisable in your business.
  • If you need to edit or update a Group just choose Configuration > Groups from the main menu and click the pencil icon next to the one you’d like to change.
