Action Responses

Action Responses are pre-configured responses that you can include with your notifications, for recipients to select to engage in two way communication with you.

For example:

‘I’m affected’ or ‘I need help’.

Action responses are supported with all available recipient notification channels.

Go to Configuration > Action Responses, and click Add New. You’ll see the following pop-up:

Enter the response text. e.g. I need help

Click on Save.

Useful info:

  • The web browser notification channel can only display two action responses, which is a limitation of the web browser, not Klaxon.
  • You can see which of your end-users responded by going to the Major Incidents / Mass notifications menu option, and select the ‘Notification Status’ option next to the major incident / mass notification you are interested in.
  • If you need to edit or update an Action Response, just choose Configuration > Action Responses from the main menu and click the pencil icon next to the one you’d like to change.
