SaaS Sales Lead / Manager

We at Klaxon are excited to hire our first full time sales person within our Leeds based SaaS business. We are looking for someone to help us grow our business by helping us shape and scale the Sales & Marketing function. 


About You

You will have a strong personal network, with a proven record of building new and lasting client relationships up to Board and C suite level. You will have the confidence to close your own customer pipeline and be passionate about working within the technology sector.

We need someone who has the ability to create their own prospects from cold calling and be able to lead in customer pitches, there will be sometimes complex deals but you will be supported by our online marketing & executive team to ensure that there is a consistent pipeline of leads and a depth of product knowledge around you.

You’ll be a really fantastic human who likes to do the right thing for the client every time and enjoys operating in a small, fast, scale up environment.  You’ll have tonnes of autonomy but the support around when you need it to help you and the business succeed.

Experience of working a software business before would be an advantage but not a prerequisite and if you’ve used HubSpot before you’ll have a head start on getting yourself up and running quickly.


The Role

  • Help build and deliver the Sales strategy for the next 5 years
  • Lead the sales process from lead generation through to deal closing
  • Develop in-depth expertise in the company's solutions and how they can be applied to solve potential customers needs
  • Conduct software demonstrations and presentations of our SaaS product
  • Contribute to tender submissions and portals
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and networking opportunities
  • Work closely with our Marketing Team to develop campaigns and collateral
  • Travel on occasions as required for above
