Getting started with Klaxon

Find all the help you need to get started with Klaxon. Learn how to add locations, technologies and how to manage, create and update incidents in your platform. 

Adding locations

Before you can create incidents, and inform your team about them, you’ll need to set up at least one office location.

Under the setup menu ‘cog’, choose Locations. Then, on the next screen, click Add New from the top right.

You’ll get a pop-up where you can enter the location details:

Useful info:

  • Use names that are unique and clear, but not too long.
  • Type allows you to choose between Offices (single sites) or Countries (which contain Offices).
  • You can set a different Time Zone to the default if you need to, but be wary that this selected Time Zone will be used to determine when notifications are sent!
  • You can also set Suggested Technologies. These will be recommended subscriptions forall Users who choose this Location. No Technologies yet? Then head to the next section!
  • If you need to edit or update a Location, just choose ‘Locations’ from the main menu and click the pencil icon next to the one you’d like to change.
